I recently had a dog "Daisy" pass after 15 wonderful years she was Chihuahua/Dachshund mix solid white little lady. I decided I would go to my local animal shelter and adopt a new addition to our family. With everything set and ready to go for our new family member, we had decided to get a large breed dog. When I arrived at the shelter my heart broke from the sound of all the animals barking for a home. I wished I could take them all. I went and signed in at the front desk and entered into the area where the dogs were kept. I had so much in my mind of what to choose and how to choose as I entered the door and then all thoughts were wiped clear and all I could see was my "Daisy" sitting in a kennel all by herself waiting and wagging her tail as if she was put there just for me. I dropped my purse and went running to the cage the lady there open the kennel door as soon as I got there and she ran straight into my arms, the rest is history as they say. I didn't go home with a large breed dog that day, but I did come home with a part of me I thought I would never get back. I beleive my "Daisy" sent me a Angel and that is exactly what we named her.
